Hollywood stars Blake Lively, Julianne Moore and Zoe Saldana have each posed with their sisters for celebrating family.
Lively is joined by her actress sisters Lori and Robyn for a high-fashion family portrait, while Moore can be seen reclining on a chair and resting her head in the lap of her younger sibling, Valerie Wells.
The Soul Sisters shoot, in the December issue of W magazine, also features Saldana and her sisters Cisely and Mariel in evening gowns, and the “Avatar” star admits she can’t imagine life without her two best friends.
She says, “Because we’ve had to survive so many things, there’s this special bond that connects us. We were raised in Queens, New York, until my father passed away when I was nine. Our mom, being a single parent, didn’t want us to grow up in a dangerous place, so she moved us to the Dominican Republic, where we stayed with my grandparents.
Our mom would live with us there for one year and then spend one year in New York so she could make money to send back home for us. It’s inconceivable for us to be separated. We have to be around each other 24/7.”
Former U.S. President George W. Bush’s twin daughters Barbara and Jenna and British socialites Cara and Poppy Delevingne also appear in the spread.
